The North American P&C Team is a recognised Lloyd’s Leader for MGA-sourced property, casualty and trucking insurance. The team works closely in partnership with Lloyd’s brokers and coverholders to offer attractive insurance products and service for customers across all 50 US States and all Canadian Provinces.
The team targets smaller product segments in the E&S and hard-to-place Canadian markets and does them well. This encompasses pricing correctly, appropriate policy coverage, strong claims handling, optimising distribution including through long term relationships, and utilising technology. These segments include Vacant Property, Builders Risk, Contingent Auto/Cargo Liability, Non-Trucking Liability, and Illinois Liquor Liability, amongst others. More broadly, the team differentiates from other Lloyd’s syndicates by offering property/liability package products.
Perhaps the biggest USP is AUGold which was developed by underwriters in the team. The AUGold platform is a quote-bind-issue portal created for MGA’s offering ease of use for key Atrium products. As well as reducing administrative burdens associated with Lloyd’s binding authorities, such as automated document issuance and real-time reporting, AUGold allows access for retail agents to submit risks to MGA’s.
In more recent years, AUGold API connectivity has enabled the use of third-party data sources to assist the underwriting of each risk (most notably improved valuations and wildfire scoring), and direct connectivity to MGA platforms for API-generated quoting and binding. API and other digital initiatives continue to offer huge potential to embrace and maximise product and distribution opportunities.
Atrium Risk Management Services
